Studio Information & Accessibility
Blanc Ceramic, Unit U01, 1/F, 10 School Road, Acton Business Centre, Park Royal, London, NW10 6TD. Please search “10 School Road” or “Blanc Ceramic” on Uber Maps — we are pinned correctly, but some GPS systems may incorrectly send drivers to 42 Gorst Road. Double-check the address before travelling.
The nearest station is North Acton (Central Line), around a 7–8 minute walk. You can also use Park Royal (Piccadilly Line) or Harlesden (Bakerloo & Overground), both within a short bus ride.
Yes — the 95, 260, 440, and 487 buses all have stops within 5–8 minutes’ walk of the studio.
We don’t currently provide secure bike storage inside the studio. However, there are bike rails just outside the Acton Business Centre complex.
Street parking nearby is available (mostly pay & display, with some free spaces at weekends). We recommend using public transport where possible. Any guests with accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance.
Unfortunately, our studio is located on the first floor and is only accessible by stairs. We currently do not have step-free or lift access, which may make it difficult for wheelchair users. We’re actively exploring more inclusive options for the future.
Yes, toilets are available for all students and visitors during classes.
Our studio space is reserved for participants only.
Yes! Studio visits are possible by appointment. Please email or call us to arrange a convenient time.
Yes, we are close to several cafes and eateries around North Acton and Park Royal. Popular options include Costa Coffee, Oaka Café, and local restaurants within a 10-minute walk.
Classes & Courses
Taster sessions (1–2 hours): Complete beginners welcome.
5–6 week courses: Beginners to intermediate (Advanced coming soon). Covers wheel-throwing, trimming, and glazing. Our taster sessions no longer include finished pieces by default. Participants can choose to keep their work for £6 per piece, which covers transparent glazing and firing.
Yes, all clay, tools, aprons, and in-house glazes are included. Finished pieces are fired and glazed by our team.
Taster sessions: Up to 10 people.
Courses: 6–8 people, allowing more focused attention.
Private bookings: Flexible depending on your group size. We can host up to 16 people on pottery wheels, plus additional guests for hand-building activities.
6-week: Functional tableware sets (cups, bowls, mugs with handles).
Mid-level: Vases, plates, teapots, and advanced glazing.
Advanced: Coming soon
Yes! Firing and glazing take around 6–8 weeks. We’ll email you when your pieces are ready. Items not collected within one month of notification may be discarded due to storage limits.
Short classes/tasters: No reschedule for late or no-shows.
Long courses: We do not generally offer make-up classes, but glazing sessions can sometimes be rearranged. In special cases (e.g. medical emergencies), we try to accommodate.
Our team includes both professionally trained ceramicists and highly skilled studio practitioners with years of teaching experience.
Yes, we offer family-friendly workshops and hand-building sessions for children aged 6+ (must be accompanied by an adult).
Taster workshops: 6+ with an adult, otherwise 16+.
Courses: 16+ only.
Family sessions: Designed for mixed ages.
Switches are not normally possible once a course begins. For longer courses, we recommend choosing the level that best suits your availability and skill goals before booking.
Booking, Payment & Gifting
Bookings are made online via our website.
Popular slots (especially weekends) sell out quickly, so we recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance. Walk-ins are not available.
We generally do not offer refunds for cancellations or no-shows.
Yes! We offer digital gift vouchers that can be used for most of our workshops.
Yes, unless otherwise specified (e.g. special themed workshops).
Yes — you can purchase a voucher or book directly under the recipient’s name.
Yes — early-bird offers, multi-week courses, and some seasonal promotions include discounts. Please join our mailing list to stay updated.
Groups, Events & Private Bookings
Yes — we host birthdays, hen parties, team-building, and bespoke events.
Up to 16 participants on wheels, with additional capacity for hand-building groups. For larger groups (30–80+), we can customise off-site workshops.
Yes — we regularly host team-building sessions, creative days, and client entertainment workshops.
Absolutely — we can tailor the class to mugs, bowls, plates, or even team-branded items.
Yes — by request, we can help incorporate logos or branding into workshop pieces (extra charge applies).
Yes for private events — we allow drinks/snacks. For public classes, food is not permitted.
Yes, for groups of 8+ we can provide tailored pricing.
We recommend at least 4–6 weeks ahead for private/corporate groups.
Studio Access, Membership & One-Day Passes
10-hour monthly membership (£100): Studio access, 4kg clay included, shared tools, glazes, and kiln access (firing charged by piece). A firing-only service applies to approved members only.
Yes — One-Day Pass gives up to 11 hours’ access in a single day.
Yes — experienced members can work independently once inducted.
All pottery wheels, work tables, kilns (via staff), slab rollers, and studio tools.
Clay and glazes are partly included (4kg/month for members). Extra clay is available at an additional cost. Members can buy additional clay and materials directly from the studio at trade pricing. A firing-only service is only available for approved members.
We don’t recommend this, as incompatible materials may cause damage. Shelf damage will be charged. However, please do check with staff first, as we may be able to accommodate this if they are compatible with our kilns (stoneware, cone 5-8).
Yes, valid for one day only (up to 11 hours). Best for experienced potters wanting short-term access.
You may use the day fully, but clay and firing are charged separately.
Yes, members can store work between sessions. One-day pass users cannot store work.

Yes — we run special workshops for Christmas, Valentine’s, Lunar New Year, and other cultural events.
