The wheel doesn't ask about your week. You sit down, and for an hour the only thing that matters is the clay under your hands.

Most people arrive a little nervous. That passes quickly. Your tutor centres the first lump with you, then hands it over. You'll feel the clay pull, wobble, and — often — collapse. That's not failure. It's the part where your hands learn what the clay wants.

By the end of the hour you'll have made something. Maybe a small bowl, maybe a cup that leans. You choose whether to keep it: if you do, we glaze and fire it, and it comes back to you a few weeks later, ready to use.

You don't need to bring anything but yourself. Aprons are here, clay is here, and there's no right way to do it the first time. Come and get your hands dirty.
