A good date is really just good attention — and it's hard to look at your phone with clay on your hands.

Why the wheel works

You sit side by side, both a little out of your depth, both laughing when the clay collapses. There's no winning and no performing — just two people making something at the same table. It breaks the ice faster than dinner and a film.

What to expect

A taster is an hour or two at the wheel, guided the whole way. You'll each make a piece or two; keep the ones you like and we'll glaze and fire them, so you leave with something to remember the evening by. No need to have tried before, on either side.

Booking for two

Weekend slots go first, so it's worth booking ahead — though same-day is sometimes possible if you're feeling spontaneous.
